Distance 28.3 miles Weather Calm with a little mist Climbing 2850 ft Difficulty Easy to moderate Company Mal Today's ride is the first that I can remember for a long time when there was hardly any wind. The first couple of miles or so were were quite foggy so were relieved when we turned off the main road and out of the traffic, onto Barkers lane. Once we reached Aislaby though, the fog began to lift leaving a few banks of mist lying in the valleys. After that the only problame we encountered were wet and dirty roads with lots of wet leaves lying around which made for some 'interesting' road surfaces, especially on bends when passing through woodland. Other than that we both enjoyed our ride. (The photos are Mall's taken on his phone.) | |
